  2. Merazonia Animal Rescue Centre, still in the construction process. Rehabilitate/provide a home for trafficked and abused animals or unwanted pets. Set in secondary rainforest - a beautiful location with the Rio Tigre passing through and two of its own waterfalls. Accommodation on the land - a half an hour walk through the forest from the tiny village of Mera.

  3. 4 volunteers, six weeks – costs around $50 a week + $15 a week for food. • Work during the week, weekends off! • Jobs include: building trails, animal cages, tending to organic garden, looking after animals once they come in. • Brainstorming new projects, using your special talents! www.merazonia.org
