  2. Michel Nadaï • Internationally acclaimed decorative artist, Michel Nadaï was born in Albi, France in 1956. His curiosity in decorative painting began in Paris, at the world renowned Châtelet Theater, where he worked for a decade; it was here that he created his first painted scenes. • In 1988 he opened his own studio and business in the Southwest of France, providing the highest quality work in painted imitation marble, wood graining, trompe-l’oeil and painted murals. • Since 1991 he has taught the trade to an international set of students, while continuing to work on high end commissioned projects in France and abroad. His work has been presented in a number of exhibitions in Europe, Japan, and the United States. • Master Artisan, in 1994 Michel Nadaï earned the title of Best Craftsman of France, the highest distinction for this profession. • His new book ‘Art and Techniques: Decorative Painting’ was released in April 2008.
