11. What is it? The Embedded Clinical Faculty Model is designed to increase student enrollment, retain and recruit nurses to the bedside and to improve the quality of care Faculty members are an integral part of both the educational unit as well as the clinical agency on a designated unit

As of July 2010 – Thirteen faculty have been hired in the partnership; Five have left the partnership but remain at VA; Four were hired from outside of the VA.
