This is your header • This is point one • Point two • You get the point
Template Guidelines • Notice the blue bar at the bottom? As much as possible, keep that in the footer for every slide. It will give your presentation a consistent and professional feel. • Think about your audience. What do they need from this presentation? Make sure everything is tooled to your audience’s needs. • Try to keep fonts, font colors and font sizes consistent. • i.e. Headers are the same sizes throughout, body copy is the same size, always use black font unless you have a good reason to change. • Also keep in mind how people will be receiving your presentation. Will there be a presenter? If so, keep bullets as short as possible so the presentation doesn’t distract from the presenter. On the other hand, if this is meant for the web, you’ll need to explain more to make sure your point is communicated.
Use Pictures • Pictures do two helpful things: • They make your presentation nice to look at • They keep you from filling the page with text (which your audience will appreciate, we promise) • If you’d like to find more professional photos of the University, use our Flickr feed and download whatever you like. • http://www.flickr.com/photos/unrphotos/sets
