  8. Register/Log In 3a. Enter the username, institution and password provided by your instructor and click ‘Log In’. Continue to step 9 OR 3b. Enter your Class Key provided by your instructor 3a 3b

  10. Verify your class 5. Verify that you are enrolled in the correct class and click ‘Yes, This is my Class’ 5

  11. Create an account 6a. Select ‘I need to create a WebAssign account’ if you have never used WebAssign before. Click ‘Continue’ 6b. Select ‘I already have a WebAssign account’ if you have used WebAssign before. Log in. Click ‘Continue’. Go to step 9 6a 6b

  14. Purchase Access After logging in, you will see a notice that shows payment options: 9a. If you do not have an access code card: Purchase access online 9b. If you have an access card: Enter your access code. 9a 9c. You can also enter the course under a trial period. After the trial period ends, you must enter an access code to continue working on assignments and accessing your grades. Access Code Card 9b 9c

Resetting Your Password Log in, then click My Options in the upper right corner. • Enter your email address if none is listed. • In Change Password, enter your new password, then re-enter your new password for confirmation. • Enter your current password in the lower left corner. • Click Save.

  19. What if I Forgot My Password? • Click Reset Password on the Login Page. • You will need your username, institution code and the email address for your account. • Otherwise, your instructor is able to reset your password.

  20. Student Guide Links to the WebAssign Student Guide are available on your Login Page and after logging in (see the help menu). The Student Guide Explains • How to access and open assignments. • How to answer various types of questions. • How to ask your teacher for help. • How to view scores and grades. • How to find additional resources.

  21. MathPad, PhysPad, CalcPad Enhanced WebAssign includes entry palettes so you can easily enter the appropriate notation (when required) to submit you answers. Complete the Getting Started with Enhanced WebAssign assignment to learn how to use the palette.

Textbook Tax Credit • You can claim… • $65 for each month you qualify for full-time education amount? • or… • $20 for each month you qualify for part-time education amount? • You can claim the textbook amount (right on your tax return!) if you are eligible to claim the education amount (and can support, with documentation, your enrolment at a post-secondary institution).
