  2. Paul Macerato is a famous Ophthalmologist who was raised in Pennsylvania. He finished his undergraduate education from the finest college in the region. He graduated summa cum laude with membership in Phi Beta Kappa, and later, completed his graduation in B.S. and M.D. degrees in six years.

  3. In his junior year of medical school he was also awarded membership in Alpha Omega Alpha. After serving an internal medicine internship, he finished his ophthalmology residency. He also served a fellowship in corneal and refractive surgery at one of the most prestigious eye institutes.

  4. Paul Macerato is certified in ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He has sub-specialty certification in anterior segment surgery, and also an honorable member of the International Intra-Ocular Implant Club, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons,

  5. The International College of Surgeons, and the American College of Eye Surgeons. For many years, he was voted as the best doctor in the specialty of ophthalmology by medical peers. He is also counted amongst the top 50 opinion leaders in Cataract and Refractive Surgery by the readership of Cataract and Refractive Surgery Today.

  6. Paul Macerato believes in fitness, and as a fit person he is an avid runner, swimmer, and skier. He has performed more than 5,000 cataract surgeries. He was also an FDA investigator for the Crystalens which was approved for use in the US. He always advices his patients to be careful when it comes to care of eyes.

  7. He uses several specialty lenses such as Toric, Multifocal, etc. to enhance near and distance vision of his patients. In addition, he also performs a number of other surgeries that include Entropian, Blepharoplasty, and Pterygium.
