  11. Financial terms • Assets: land, buildings, debtors, stock, investments, etc. • Issued share capital: profit (before financing) from main business of company. • Liabilities: trade credits, bank overdrafts, loans, etc. • Net income: surplus kept in business rather than given to shareholders.
