There have been reports of it and it has happened now. India declared on Wednesday a ban on a further 118 Chinese applications like PUBG Mobile. Right now, the information is sparse but we do know why the apps have been suspended and we can make an informed assumption as to what will happen next.
This is what you need to read first. India has banned PUBG Mobile because of its Chinese links and because India and China are actually in the midst of a boundary conflict, China is seeking to reach India's territories in Ladakh but India is hitting back by banning the Chinese apps. Several applications have been banned by the previous government like TikTok. Now an additional 118 games, including PUBG, are prohibited.
What would happen in the case of PUBG Mobile would be a tale close to what happened with TikTok? For Indian users, they can delete PUBG from their app stores over the next few hours, or a day or two, after Apple and Google get government notice. People who have already downloaded PUBG will continue to have the software on their phones, but it will not function as telecom companies such as Jio and Airtel will obstruct PUBG's access to servers after getting government notification.
