  1. Scope and goals of this review: Check the solidity of the chamber design and indicate weak points Comment on the proposed tooling for chamber construction and quality control Review the plan towards the start of mass production in each center, keeping in mind the overall LHCb schedule -> A review report should be prepared -> Based on this and action list should be established -> We would like to start the procurement procedure of chamber components, in particular of cathodes, panels and wire, once this review has been passed LHCb Muon System MWPC EDR MWPC EDR / B.Schmidt

  2. Subsequent Reviews: Production readiness reviews (PRRs) for the production sides are foreseen before the start of mass production. By the time of the PRRs for the various production sides: All outstanding points for the construction of a chamber type have to be sorted out and a module 0 has been constructed and tested All critical points coming up from this review have been answered satisfactory The complete set of tooling in a production center is in place and fully operational -> PRRs for PNPI, LNF and CERN are scheduled for 09/2003 LHCb Muon System MWPC EDR MWPC EDR / B.Schmidt
