Picking Classes • The advising worksheet (Individualized Study Plan) has a list of all the required courses for your program. • I can assist you with your schedule; however, I am unable to plan your schedule for you. • Your advising worksheet was included and a list of all your required courses are on the form. • MBA • MS Accountancy • MS Taxation • MS Information Systems • Matrix

Fees • http://sfs.fullerton.edu/ • Part-Time approximately $1518.00 • Full-Time approximately $2385.00 • Non-Resident Tuition $339 per unit. • MBA fee is $210 per unit. • Fees are due by with in 3 business days after you register for courses. • You may be subject to disenrollment if fees are received after the due date • To Calculate your Basic Registration Fees

How do I Register? • Your class schedule is found online in your Student Portal. • Click “NEW TITAN ONLINE” • See: “Student Self Serve” • Registration guide can be found online. • Home > Current Students > Registration Guide • New Titan Online available • Available 24/7 • Registration Appointments will not be mailed to students.

  8. Registration • Students must register for a minimum of 3 units or one course. • Students with Financial Aid must check with Financial Aid on the # of units required normally it is 6 units of 400/500 level coursework. • International Students must enroll in 9 units of coursework.

  9. Where do I Register? • The easiest way to register is by using Titan Online. • You can find step by step instructions in the Registration Guide pg.70 • By going to http://www.fullerton.edu/ you will have access to the Student Portal and New Titan Online. • Student Portal • In addition, you can find your portal and registration links online in your Graduate Student Handbook (GSH).

Holds • Common Holds You might see: • Health Center (Immunization) • International Education & Exchange (Insurance) • Mihaylo College of Business & Economics (Contact Diane Mazzey) • Missing the Welcome Seminar • Probation • Failure to submit required documents in a timely manner • To remove a hold you must contact the Department that placed the hold.

Registration Pages of Registration Guide pg.38 • Titan I, Titan II, & Titan II Change of Program. • Registration Window • All graduate students register around the same day. • Register during your assigned appointment and you may continue to register until the end of the Titan Period I or II.

  12. Adding ClassesUp through 1st week • Up through the 1st week of classes students add courses online through New Titan Online. • If a class is full you will be placed on a waitlist. • Graduate Advisor would be unable to assist you with adding a class that is full.

  13. Wait List • If a class is full you will placed on a waitlist (maximum of 15 students may be on a waitlist) • You will be moved from the waitlist into the class if other students drop or are dropped due to non-payment of fees. • You will receive an email notification when you are moved from the waitlist to the class. • If you no longer wish to be enrolled you must drop the course the instructor will not drop it for you. • The waitlist is no longer active the first week of classes.

Adding ClassesSecond Week • During the Second Week of Classes students must obtain an electronic permit. • Attend class and petition the instructor to add the course. • If there is room and it does not disrupt the structural integrity of the class the instructor may be willing to add you to his/her course. • If permitted to add the instructor will provide you with the needed approval • You would then add the course through NewTitan Online.

  15. Adding a Full Class • If you were not added through the waitlist you would attend the first night of class and petition the instructor to add the course. • If there is room and it does not disrupt the structural integrity of the class the instructor may be willing to add you to his/her course. • If permitted to add the instructor will provide you with an electronic permit • You would then add the course through NewTitan Online.

  16. Third & Fourth Week of Classes • The add period is over. • Students may add courses late due to personal emergency (documentation is required) • To add late an approved Petition for Late Add of Classes must be submitted to A&R. • Provide the Instructor with the form: • Signatures: Instructor, Dept. Chair, & Assistant Dean (Robert Miyake) must be obtained.

  17. How do I drop a Class? • Student may drop classes through New Titan Online through the second week of class. • After the second week of class you must have a serious & compelling reason to drop. • Signatures are required: Instructor, Dept. Chair, & Assistant Dean. • Tutorial Registration (15 minutes)

  18. Refunds • In order to receive a full refund of mandatory fees, including non-resident tuition, a student must cancel registration or drop all courses prior to the first day of instruction for the term. • No student withdrawing after the 60 percent point in the term will be entitled to a refund of any mandatory fees or non-resident tuition.

  19. Refunds • Students who completely withdraw from classes at any time up through October 29, 2009 will automatically be sent a pro-rated refund, less non-refundable fees ($11) and a processing fee ($5.00). • Students who reduce their status to six units or fewer by September 8, 2009 will automatically be sent a refund of the difference between full-time and part-time fees.

  20. Parking • University Cashiers (Student Financial Services) will no longer sell permits. • Parking Permits are required on the first day of class there is no grace period and are $162.00 • http://parking.fullerton.edu provides Parking & Transportation Rules & Regulations. • Purchase Permit through your portal.
