You are given the grace and power of Christ 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (KJV) 9And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

You are given the grace and power of Christ • The Grace of Christ is sufficient for you • The strength of Christ is made perfect in your weakness. • The power of Christ will rest upon you through all your infirmities an trials. • When you suffer some infirmity or weakness, it gives Christ the chance to infuse power into you and to overcome the weakness for you. • Your infirmity gives Christ the chance to prove Himself.
You are given the grace and power of Christ Therefore take pleasure: • In Infirmities • In reproaches • In necessities • In persecution • In distress When you are weak, you are strong by the power of Christ.
You are given the presence and power of the Holy Spirit Acts 1:8 (KJV) 8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
You are given the presence and power of the Holy Spirit • As a minister, you are equipped with God’s very own Spirit. No greater power could ever be possessed by anyone • Once the early disciples experienced the coming of God’s spirit into their lives, they never again asked about earthly powers. • You have been given a task by God, a mission to carry out. You do not have the power to carry out that task, not within yourself. The power of God, of His Spirit is needed • Both the Spirit of God and His power is promised. • The Holy Spirit comes to you as a equipping power
You are given the presence and power of God 2 Corinthians 4: 6-7 (KJV) 6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 7But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. • This treasure is the Presence of God shining in the believer’s earthly vessel. • God’s presence is a priceless treasure • God’s presence is placed into earthly vessels • God’s purpose for entering your body is to show His power by overcoming all weaknesses—all trials and temptation.
You are given the presence and power of God • The presence of God in your heart and body is power: • It is the power to convert and transform you into a new creature (2nd Cor5:17) • It is the power to convert and transform you in a new man (Eph4:24) • It is the power to deliver you from all temptations and trials (1st Cor10:13) • It is the power to put His divine nature into you (2nd Peter 1:4) • It is the power to give you life, both abundant and eternal Life (John 10:10)
You are given the assurance—absolute assurance—of victory by God Himself 2 Corinthians 2:14 (KJV) 14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place. • It is God who causes you to triumph. • God always causes you to triumph. You will never know defeat in a permanent point of view • The triumph is in Christ—and Christ Alone.

You are given a spiritual gift by God Ephesians 4:11 (KJV) 11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; God has everything you need to equip you for ministry: The Spiritual Office The Spiritual Gift and Ability The Authority and power The Grace to bear all trials and tribulations in order to complete your ministry
You are given a spiritual gift by God Jesus Christ gives you the grace to use your gift. Grace means the strength, wisdom, courage, motivation, love, concern, care, power. When you need to use your gift, Jesus Christ gives out in measured amounts exactly the amount of Grace required for use of the gift
You are given faith to sustain you in ministry 2 Corinthians 4:13 (KJV) 13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; Ephesians 6:16 (KJV) 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
You are given the love of Christ to compel you in the ministry 2 Corinthians 5:14 (KJV) 14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: The Love of Christ constrains you to hold fast to the ministry: • The great teaching of Christ • The great example of Christ • The great ministry of Christ • The great life of Christ
You are given the love of Christ to compel you in the ministry Paul stated: • One died for all, Therefore we all died. • Christ died for all men/women; therefore all men died when He died • Christ died for all men/women; therefore all men died in Him • We are representd by Christ when HE died
You are given the hope of the resurrection to sustain you in the ministry 2 Corinthians 4:14 (KJV) 14 Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you. You serve Christ for one reason: You know you are going to die someday and you know there will be a resurrection of the dead.
