  4. Nutrition Facts-Caffeine • Vault has 47 mg caffeine per serving ( 8 oz) or 117.5 mg in a 20 oz bottle. Caffeine is a nervous system stimulant that increases alertness, wards off fatigue, and increases capacity to do mental and physical work. Too much caffeine can cause heart palpitations, insomnia, nervousness and anxiety.

  5. Nutrition Facts-Electrolytes Electrolytes are salts, specifically ions that are electrically charged. The most common electrolytes are sodium(Na+), potassium(K+), Chloride(Cl-) and Calcium(Ca2+). Electrolytes are used by the body to cause muscle contractions. Electrolytes are lost through sweat and need to replaced. Vault has both sodium and potassium. The amount of potassium was not listed. The amount of sodium per serving is 30 milligrams.

  6. Nutrition Facts-Sodium • Vault has 30 mg of sodium in an 8oz serving, 75 mg in a whole 20oz bottle. Sodium‘s most important function is maintaining the body fluid balance. Sodium also generates electrical impulses in nerves and muscles. Sodium can be lost through sweat after strenuous exercise. Too much sodium can cause high blood pressure and have adverse effects on the kidneys.

  7. Nutrition Facts-Sugar • Vault is loaded with sugar. • One 20 oz bottle has over 1/3 cup or 78 grams of sugar. • Drinking an entire bottle of Vault has as much sugar as a large slice of dark chocolate cake.

  8. Nutrition Facts-other stuff • Vault does not contain any: • Minerals • Protein • Taurine • Trans fats OR • Vitamins

  9. Helpful or Harmful • After researching Vault , my conclusion is that it is primarily harmful as a drink. • It is loaded with sugar, not to mention the high amount of caffeine, artificial flavors, and preservatives. • Although there are electrolytes and water in it, there are more unhealthy ingredients than healthy ones. • Conclusion: harmful!!!!

  10. Advertisement • Advertising for Vault is found on TV, internet, and radio. • An example of a TV ad: a nerdy guy gets picked last for a sports event. He then drinks a Vault and get supercharged, winning the game single handedly. • An example of a radio ad: a nerdy guy calls a talk show host and the nerdy guy again can’t do something….one of them goes like this....”I can't get my grill to light .. Should I cook hamburgers on the stove?” • Vault talk show host: “…Dear No Flame Ned…If I catch you cooking hamburgers on the stove, I'll arrest you for crimes against your gender! Come on! Crack open a vault! Rub twigs! Strike flint against steel! Bathe it in lighter fluid! Dig deep man… its not just a grill, its a torch of masculinity, it must be lit!!!!

  11. Other cool info • Vault contains orange juice. • Vault uses yellow 5 artificial coloring • Vault is made by the Coca Cola company. • All the Vault advertisements are aimed at young men, especially awkward nerds.
