  2. Workshop Objectives • Introduce the Gaia Primary Computing Framework • Explore some of the key challenges facing primary schools following introduction of the computing curriculum • Demonstrate how Gaia is helping St Swithun’s and other schools with a very challenging area of the curriculum

  3. Workshop Outline • Bernard will outline some of the key challenges faced by schools following introduction of the computing curriculum. He will explain how the Gaia Primary Computing Framework has evolved as a tool to address the challenges of teacher confidence, curriculum planning and assessment. • Matthew will illustrate how these challenges manifest themselves in his school and explain how St Swithun’s Catholic Primary is working with Gaia Technologies to address those challenges. • Kathy will explain how she works with primary schools through training and consultancy to empower teachers.
