  1. Fix OKI Printer Error Code 990 Quickly OKI Printer Error Code 990 appears when the machine cannot find out either the toner cartridge or the drum unit. As a consequence, printer becomes incapable to recognize the amount of ink left behind in the units. Read the PPT to know process to resolve it. Steps to fix error code 990 in OKI Printer: 1. Whenever Error 990arises in OKI Printer, the basic thing that you need to do is check whether the complete blue toner levers are firmly pushed towards the back or not. 2. As you are done with it, check the sensor. Assure whether it needs to be cleaned or not. You can find the sensor at back of the plastic cover on the side of the drum. 3. Use a dirt-free & small cloth to clean the plastic cover & the silver arm. 4. The sensor will be fine powder & should also be easy to move. 5. Verify that the sensor level on TS1 is pushed up or not. 6. Clean the arm suitably. Also check whether the sensor level is pushed up as it needs to be or not.
