A sample of 525 SEAPs show: • 29,8 % overall CO2 reduction target (Currently 5,87 tons / capita emissions) • € 33.6 billion planned investments (441 SEAPs have information on planned cost/investment) • 73 million MWh estimated annual energy saving in 2020: • Equiv. 28 coal fired power plants (of 300MW) • 23.7  million MWh - planned annual energy generation in 2020 (renewable energy, CHP, district heating ...) • Equiv. Of 7 coal fired power plants (of 300 MW)

  7. EE and RES in BUILDINGS: driving mitigation and local growth • 38 % of all measures target buildings • 47% of total energy savings potential in buildings (MWh 34.6M) planned • €11.7bn of estimated investments (35% of total) • €16.8M tons of CO2 reduction • Close to 1/5 of measures are low-cost investments (below €5000)
