Life: Living and Working with Epilepsy “EXPECT EMPLOY EMPOWER" Keynote speaker: Dr. Connie Sung and Cindy Leino-Handford Dr. Connie Sung Dr. Connie Sung is an assistant professor of rehabilitation counseling at Michigan State University. She has a doctorate degree in Rehabilitation Psychology from University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Sciences from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Her interests include evidence-based practice, psychosocial adjustment, vocational rehabilitation and quality of life for individuals with Epilepsy Cindy Leino-Handford, RN Cindy Leino-Handford, a graduate of Henry Ford Hospital’s School of Nursing, is the Education and Advocacy Specialist at the Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan. As an RN she is responsible for the education, counseling and advocacy of those who contact the foundation, conducts educational in-services, is Michigan’s representative for National’s Kids Speak Up conference and is a Camp Discovery nurse.
