Marquee – Allows you to select an object by drawing a rectangle around it • Move – used to select and move the objects • Lasso– Allows you to select an object by drawing a border around it • Polygonal Lasso – Used to draw a straight-edged border around an object • Magnetic Lasso – Used to draw the border of an object that snaps to the edges Tools and their functions

  9. Magic Wand – helps to select all those objects that have the similar fill color, stroke weight, stroke and opacity • Crop Tool – it is used to select and cut parts of an image • Slice Tool – It is used to cut images into slices as its name Tools and their functions

  12. Cropping a Picture using the Marquee Tool • Open the image • Select the Marquee tool from the Toolbox • Click around the part of the picture you want to crop • Go to main menu, click on image and select crop • The image will be cropped after step # 4 Basic Image Editing

  13. Resizing a Picture • Open the image • On main menu go to image and select image size • Scales Styles, Constrain Proportions, Resample Image Basic Image Editing
