  7. 1. CREDCHEM Development and testing of a credit transfer system for the enhancement of mobility in the chemical sector The project has been presented to the European social partners of the chemical industry (ECEG, EMCEF) at a meeting in the framework of the social dialogue.

CREDCHEM Development and testing of a credit transfer system for the enhancement of mobility in the chemical sector • Aims: • Enhancement of mobility in the chemical sector • Transparency between the different VET systems • Securing sustainability by the establishment of a mobility network • Results: • Agreement on units of learning outcomes (work in a laboratory) • Description of learning outcomes • Selection of work tasks for each unit of learning outcomes • Development of examination tasks • Development of documents for mobility • Memorandum of understanding • Learning agreements • Experience with the application of units of learning outcomes (mobilities)

CREDCHEM Mobilities Task Development of CREDCHEM Network as a mobility network • To bring together supply and demand of mobilities • To monitor the quality of mobilities • To coordinate flows of mobilities • To seize initiatives which promote the recognition of qualifications acquired abroad • To maintain the curricular basis of the mobilities (units of learning outcomes, learning outcomes, methods for measuring and evaluating learning outcomes) • To acquire and to administer financial means for the carrying out of mobilities. Mobilities of teaching personnel / continuing teacher training Development of structures capable of intensifying continuing teacher training and exchange of experience Task Aims • Records needs for continuing training of teaching personnel • Offers, in the form of the Summer Academy, a forum for exchange of information and experience • Arranges contacts for mobilities of teaching personnel • Helps teachers getting in touch with companies • Brings together teachers with scientists and researchers of VET

Web 2.0 based learning, information and communication platform Task Development of a Web 2.0 based learning environment as the information and communication platform for CREDCHEM Network This learning environment will be developed in the framework of the BMBF-founded cooperative project „Development and testing of a Web 2.0 based learning environment for vocational qualification in the chemical sector“ (ChemNet).   18. Use of results of European ECVET initiatives for the creative professions of the painters and varnishers trade and floristry 1. ECVET Ma-Flo Runtime: 01/10/2010 until 30/09/2012 The method for testing ECVET, developed in the project CREDCHEM, is being seized and transferred into the training practice of floristry and the painters and varnishers trade. Tasks • Agreement on units of learning outcomes for VET in the fields of floristry and the painters and varnishers trade • Description of learning outcomes • Development of learning arrangements allowing the acquisition of the learning outcomes • Measuring learning outcomes • Arrangements for testing (Memorandum of understanding, learning agreement)

  20. Transfer of experience with ECVET into the work practice of VET institutions for the creative professions (floristry and painters and varnishers trade 2. LdV Partnership Runtime: 01/08/2010 until 31/07/2012 • Aims • Agreement on possibilities of a long-term, cross-border cooperation (Web 2.0 based project learning, students‘ mobilities as conceptual element of the training). • Establishment of a permanent cross-border platform for exchange of experience and continuing training of teaching personnel of the target sectors (testing of the concept „Summer Academy“ which has been developed by the LdV Partnership „EURO-Kreativ“ between 2008 and 2010, use of Web 2.0 applications). • Discussion about the implementation of ECVET (the results of the project ECVET Ma-Flo are being seized) • Preparation of mobilities for the testing of ECVET in the fields of floristry and the painters and varnishers trade

PILE UP Process Industry LEarning Unit Project The Dutch project coordinator wants to transfer the methodological approach developed by the project CREDCHEM into a new sector and into additional countries. Three partners of the project PILE UP were simultaneously members of the project consortium of CREDCHEM (SBG, NAVET, BIBB). Runtime: 01/11/2011 until 31/10/2013 • Aims: • Transfer of the innovative method developed in CREDCHEM to describe units of learning outcomes for the work in a chemical laboratory into the new fields operator and maintenance technician. • Testing of the units of learning outcomes in VET and the industry.
