  2. Your system doesn’t power up • Check to see if all the cords are plugged in • Check to see if its on • Check to see if it’s all properly connected together • Unplug your computer and wait a few minutes then plug it back in.

  3. Your system powers up but doesn’t boot up • Read any error messages that come up • Try booting from a system disc

  4. Nothing appears on your monitor • Make sure the monitor and computer are both on • Make sure the monitor is properly connected • Jiggle the data connection and make sure both ends are in • Check the brightness and contrast • Check to see if a screensaver has been activated • If the power light is flashing green then there is something wrong with your computer not the moniter

  5. Your mouse doesn’t work or stops responding • Check to see if the mouse is plugged in correctly • If it’s a different kind of mouse try plugging it in somewhere else • If its working in windows try rebooting your computer • If it’s a non-optical mouse try to clean the bottom • Try changing the batteries

  6. If your printer doesn’t work • Make sure its turned on and plugged in • Make sure it has paper and ink • Make sure its plugged in to the computer • Check to see if your printer is online • Try turning it off for a minute then turn it back on • Check your settings for the printer
