  2. Current Stadium • The Giants currently play in MetLife stadium, in East Rutherford New Jersey. • Although the team is the “New York” Giants, they play and are headquartered in New Jersey.

  3. Three New York NFL Teams • Buffalo Bills • New York Jets • New York Giants

Buffalo Bills • The Buffalo Bills were founded in 1960. • The Bills are the only NFL team that fully operates in the state of New York. • Appeared in the Super Bowl for 4 consecutive seasons (1990-1993) and lost each game. • The Bills haven’t been very successful in over a decade. • Their last playoff appearance was in 1999, when they lost in the first round.

  5. New York Jets • The New York Jets were founded in 1959 as the “Titans of New York.” • The Jets had one of the most embarrassing seasons of any team during the 2012 season. • Some fanatics have said that quarterback Mark Sanchez’s “Butt Fumble” is the best way to summarize the season they had.

New York Giants • The New York Giants were founded in 1925 and are one of the original NFL teams. • The Giants are also the original New York football team and should return to the state. • They have had more Super Bowl Championships than the Bills and Jets combined. • 2 of the last 5 Super Bowl Championships were won by the Giants. • Some highlights from the last season can be found here.

  8. Conclusion • Of the three “New York” teams, the Giants have been the most successful by far. • They deserve to have their own stadium and permanently separate from the Jets. • The Giants would have a strong following of New York fans and those fans would have a team that they can be proud of.
