Key for success: Preliminary Work • Preliminary study of some buildings before the proposal submission (May 2012) • November-December 2012 (Three months before official start date): Energy Auditof the two public buildings in Prespes that are submitted to energy upgrade by joint teams. • Timetable and budget reform in order to adjust to partners current needs. Results of preliminary work: • Adjustment of the measurements and energy audit procedures to the special characteristics of the area’s buildings. • Better programming of the energy audits of the remaining buildings. • The early energy audits of the two buildings in Prespes contributed to the better planning of the energy upgrade studies. Cooperation between partners: • Constant contact. • Accurate implementation of the JTS instructions. • Close cooperation with the Payment Authority (different legislation frameworks for each partner) • Exploitation of the perfect relations between Prespes and Resen municipalities • Exploitation of the relations between the two Regions. • Exploitation of the TEI W.M. experience in implementing INTERREG projects. Projects that developed due to exploitation of the project: • Follow-up proposalsat the 3rdcallGreece-FYROM IPA-CrossBorderProgramme 2007-2013.BioFoss proposal approval (District heating of Amyntaio, Bitola municipality) • Greece-Turkey Bilateral Research & Technology cooperation – SEEMBEET project-Istanbul Technical University(ITU). • Submission of Research proposal at theERC Consolidator Grant 2014 call of theHorizon2020.   14. WP1 – Project Management: • The first two meetings took place (Kozani 12/12/2013 andResen 17/12/2013). The third is programmed for late June 2014. • Delivery of 5 progress reports on-time. • Two applications for verification of expenditure. The third until end of May. The issuance of Energy Efficiency Certificates makes Prespes buildings directly exploitable • Significant energy upgrade of two public buildings with intense social interest (schools) • Relations of trust, cooperation and friendship between: Dimitris, Thodoris, Stelios, Dimitris, Vasilis, Argyris, Kostas, Charitini, Sofia, Anna, George, Nikos, Filippos, Vaggelis, Kostas, Yannisand Maria, Marijana, Milko, Anje, Ivona, Zlatko,Krste, Naum, Ntaniela, Nikos.
