  1. Romania-Bulgaria Cross-Border Cooperation Operational Programme 2007-2013 Technical Meeting&Joint Approval Committee, Bucharest, 2-3 April 2007 Time schedule for ex ante evaluation and Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA)

  2. Ex ante evaluation (I) • The 30th of October 2006 - the first draft of the OP was sent to the ex ante expert; • The 19th of November 2006 - the first ex ante evaluation report; • The 7th of December 2006 – interim ex ante evaluation report on the implementation part; • The 5th of January 2007 – the first full draft of the OP has been sent to the ex ante expert; • The 22nd of January – the second ex ante evaluation report has been finalized;

  3. Ex ante evaluation (II) • The 23rd of January 2007 – The ex ante report has been sent to our Bulgarian counterpart; • The 26th of February 2007 – the second full draft of the OP has been sent to the ex ante expert. • The 8th of March 2007 – the third ex ante evaluation report has been finalized; • The 9th of March 2007 – the third ex ante evaluation report has been sent to our Bulgarian counterpart;

  4. Ex ante evaluation (III) • The 29th of March 2007 – The third full draft of the programme document has been sent to the ex ante expert; • On the 15th of April 2007 – the final ex ante evaluation report will be finalized.

  5. The 30th of October 2006 – the first draft of the OP has been sent to the SEA expert; • The 27th of November 2007 – The first SEA report (scoping report) has been finalized; • The 23rd of January 2007 – The first full draft of the OP and the SEA report have been sent for consultation to the environmental authorities from Romania and Bulgaria. • The 16th of March 2007 – the consultations on the first SEA report have been finalized and the comments resulted have been sent to the SEA expert; Strategic Environmental Assessment (I)

  6. Strategic Environmental Assessment (II) • 15th of April 2007 – the draft environmental report will finalized • 16th of April 2007 – start of public consultation (30 days) and consultation of the relevant environmental authorities on the draft environmental report and draft RO – BG OP (in both Romania and Bulgaria); • 15th of May – end of the consultations • 23rd of May – finalization of the environmental report and of the environmental statement.
