We use the present progressive in the following cases: We are discussing the problem write now. She is giving a party tonight. He is always losing his glasses.

  5. Spelling rules-Adding ing a. For verbs ending in consonant + e, drop the e before adding ing. bake- baking b. For verbs ending in ie, change ie to y before adding ing. die- dying c. when the last syllable of the verb is written with constant –vowel constant and is stressed, double the last letter before adding ing.   7. Negative Sentences To change a positive sentence to a negative one add not after the verb “to be”. Positive sentence: Miri is dancing now. Miri is sleeping now. not I am reading a book. Yes/No questions To form a question in the present progressive You have to move the verb to be to the beginning of the sentence and the rest of the sentence does not change Tom is leaving now.Is Tom leaving now? You are moving to a new house ?Are you moving to a new house? Be + subject + Verb+ing + the rest of the sentence exercise

  9. How to form Wh Questions You add wh question before the yes/no question structure. For example: Yes/ No question :Are you crying? Why Wh question : are you crying?
