Current status of “Learning to program” • Straight introduction to C/C++/Java • Majority of college students struggle with syntax errors, memorize the programs and postpone the learning • Enjoyment of “learning to program” is lost. • Not many subjects can give that enjoyment through such “trial-and-error” experience and result in instant gratification!
