Mission of the Immaculate Conception of Most Holy Mary

Founded on December 8, 1787, this 11th mission of Alta California was established by Father Fermin de Lasuen. Located in La Canada de los Berros, the mission was known for its production of various items and the lifestyle it offered to the Chumash neophytes. However, by 1933, it had significantly declined, with most buildings reduced to rubble.
