  17. DEVELOPMENT PROJECT examples Material:PTFE Product: sealing – machine industry Goal: Improved adhesion between PTFE surface and EPDM rubber. Higher surface tension of the surface before gluing. Contact angle before modification: 150° Contact angle after modification: 20° Very resistible bonding was reached between PTFE sealing and rubber. Bonding was created by glue than pressed and vulcanized.
