Suggested Materials • Cardboard • Straws (flexi type) • Scotch tape • Glue (preferably one that dries clear) • Colored aquarium gravel • Popsicle sticks • Rocks (to represent boulders) • Greenery to represent grass, bushes, etc. • Construction paper • Red sandpaper to represent brickwork • Colored markers • Scissors • Anything else that may be used to represent landscaping materials, patio furnishings, etc. Terrie Rust PUSD

  14. Varying the Assignment • If materials, time, and space are available, projects can be completed in class. • Landscape models can be assigned as an “at home” project. • Assign as front yard OR back yard project. • Minimal requirements: sprinkler systems below and areas to be watered on top. • Optimal requirements: sprinkler systems below and full landscaping and accessorizing (lawn furniture, BBQ, etc.) on top.
