  4. Island~A body of land that is completely surrounded by water

  5. Peninsula~A body of land that is surrounded by water on three sides

  6. Bay~A body of water that extends into the land

  7. Archipelago~ another name for a group of islands

  8. Isthmus~ A natural strip of land, bordered by water, which connects two larger masses of land

  9. Strait~ A narrow channel of water connecting two larger bodies of water

  10. Canal~ Another name for an artificial waterway

  11. Cape~ a tip or point of land that extends into the water
