  2. What is the Difference? • Everyone is totally involved • A constant focus • They look the part • Feedback via film work

  3. Be involved in every play • Everyone should be aware of timing and correct errors • Never be afraid to question a penalty enforcement or to question a flag • Know your job/mechanics

  4. Constant Focus • The mind has a tendency to wander • Establish a routine for every play – repetition wears a groove in your brain. • Back up into your position • Be involved in the pre-game

  5. Looking the Part • Changing your eating mindset • Fat, sugar, alcohol – think calories • Get in the habit of exercising – once you start, you will like the way you feel and eventually the way you look. • Try a cleanse – Google one • Set a weight goal for September 1st

  6. Constant Focus • The mind has a tendency to wander • Establish a routine for every play – repetition wears a groove in your brain. • Back up into your position • Be involved in the pre-game

  7. Getting Better • Ask for supportive feedback – give supportive feedback • White hats – try to get game film from the AV person – bring a flash drive • If you don’t have the time to break it down – share the work load

  8. Mentoring • First and second-year officials will be assigned a mentor • Everyone will be unofficially added to a crew – receive all emails as well as post-game critques.
