  2. Define Mixture: • A mixture is a combination of 2 or more substances, that are easily separated.

  3. Examples of solutions: • Kool-aide • Salt and water • Sugar and water • Food coloring and water • Milk

  4. Define Solutions: • A mixture of 2 or more substances, one substance dissolved, homogeneous (same throughout), can be separated.

  5. Examples of solutions: • Kool-aide • Salt and water • Sugar and water • Food coloring and water • Milk

  6. Examples of mixtures: • Sand and water • Sand and iron fillings • muffin • Ice-cream shake with oreos • salad

  7. Name that tool: I want to separate the iron fillings from water: • Magnet!!!
