  2. SPREADSHEET SOFTWARE A spreadsheet package is a computer program created specifically to help in the processing of numbers. The spreadsheet stores information in rows (across the screen) and columns (down the screen) creating little boxes, known as cells.

  3. SPREADSHEET SOFTWARE Spreadsheets can be used in business within the finance department for accounting and calculating wages. Spreadsheets can be used in the sales department to keep a record of the number of products sold. Spreadsheets can be used in the operations department to keep a check on how much stock has been bought in and used.

  4. SPREADSHEET SOFTWARE Spreadsheets help with presentations - charts and graphs can be created. Spreadsheets can be copied and imported into word processed reports. Spreadsheets can update figures without the user having to do any of the maths!
