Reduction of Carbon Emission • Our electricity in South China comes from the burning of fossil fuels which increases the levels of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. • 69.22 grams of carbon dioxide emitted per megajoules (million joules) of energy for fuel oil. • 1 KW-h = 3.6 megajoules. • Take an example of a 160 ton machine, heating zone power16 KW and 40% saving by ESS. The energy saving per day of operation =16*0.4*24*3.6 = 553 megajoules. • The reduction of carbon dioxide emission is 38,275 gm. • The total of annual reduction for the whole Creata project, of about 800 machines would be = 11,176 Tons.
