  1. ITS Disaster Recovery Planning: Muster Point for Building Evacuation MusterPoint. A Muster Point is a pre-designated location where you will go in the event your office has to be evacuated. Assembling in this designated location will enable ITS/ITto account for staff and visitors. UNMC ITS/Hospital IT Muster Point is the Sorrell Center - Lobby Procedure Alarm sounds / notification received. Account for visitors and lead them out of the building. Evacuate using the nearest exit. If time, take all personal items with you just in case you cannot return to the building. (i.e. car keys, cell phones, brief case/purse) Calmly begin walking out of the building and proceed to the Muster Point. Once you arrive at the Muster Point, gather with your supervisor/work group.
