  2. Business Overview InsideTrack is a Business Process Tracking application that provides services such as • Project Planning • Jobs Scheduling • Tracking employee activities and time spent on the jobs • Generating reports for management purpose

  5. Main Log-In Will collect username and password, compare it with username and password from database and provide access to the user.

  6. System Admin (View)Client Tab This form allows the sys admin to: Create a new Client Edit current Client ‘s information.

  7. System Admin (View)Users Tab This form allows the sys admin to: Create a new user Edit current users information.

  8. System Admin (View)Jobs Tab The System Administrator uses this form to Create a new Job Edit the existing Job Define the Job Type if needed.

  9. System Admin (View)Financial Tab The System Administrator uses this from to set or edit the BHR (Basic Hourly Rate) which calculates the overhead expenses on a particular job.

  10. System Admin (View) Backup Tab This form allows the sys admin to create the backup of the database

  12. Main Log-In Will collect username and password, compare it with username and password from database and provide access to the user.

  13. Manager (View) Dashboard Tab This tab allows manager to track: Jobs done by employees. Employees doing which jobs. No. of unallocated jobs The jobs in process The number of employees logged in for the day The number of employees yet to login

  14. Manager (View)Schedule Tab This form enables the manager to Schedule Jobs Set priority for the selected job Allocate a job to a particular user

  15. Manager (View)Reports Tab This form helps in generating the following reports: Job reports Employee reports Department reports Profit and Loss reports

  16. Report Generation The report contains the Quarterly Departmental Report showing the following details: The number of jobs in a quarter The total income in that quarter Total time taken to complete those jobs Profit/Loss for the Quarter

  17. Login & User Functionalities

  18. Main Log-In Will collect username and password, compare it with username and password from database and provide access to the user.

  19. Employee Work-View Allows the employee to select a job from a list of jobs allocated to him. The details of the job are displayed in a Job Details field.

  20. Employee Work-Progress Window This form displays the job progress for that particular employee.

  21. Employee Work-Progress Window Once the employee hits the Finish Job button, a message box appears showing number of hours worked

  22. Change password Allows a user to change his/her password by entering the employee id and the old password. The rest of the fields are inactive

  23. Change password Once the user hits the change password button it verifies the user details and displays a message

  24. Change password Now the other fields are active and lets the user change the password

  25. Forgot Password Allows the user to reset his password by answering a secret question.

  26. Forgot Password Once the user enters the employee id the secret answer should be entered and the system verifies. Once verified the password appears in the field provided

  29. Scalability for future • Migration from MS Access to SQL Server for faster database transactions • Role based rights/access allocation • Migrating to a Client-Server model • Accessibility over Thin/Thick clients
