  1. Work Done by Monika Jindal: A. Study of Drell –Yan process in muon channel with 2010 and 2011 data. • CMS presented analysis of 2010 data in Moriond 2011 conference. • Results of 2011 analysis presented in EPS conference. Corresponding analysis note is AN-11-013 and PAS is EWK-10-007. • Currently studying the background estimation using data driven method. (e+ channel from ttbar production mainly for high-mass Drell-Yan process.) The anlaysis have been approved, to be published in Phys. Lett B. Poster in Lepton Photon conference. B.Study of the Underlying Events using Drell-Yan process. • The study have been documented as CMS-AN-10-355 and the PAS QCD-10-040 • Approved for EPS conference Sunil Bansal (Antwerpen) presented poster at EPS conference last week on behalf of CMS collaboration. . Poster in Lepton Photon conference. • Results will be presented in another conference (Multi-Parton Interaction) by Sunil. Plan for future work: • To continue the study of the Underlying events using Drell-Yan process using complete 2011 data and go for publication this year • Updating the results of e+ method using 2011 data.
