Overview of NECO Project Web site for collecting, sharing, mapping, and reporting green practices or low impact developments in neighborhoods across the Great Lakes Unique concept of clustering online social networking, collaborative effort, and individual competitive rivalry, to increase adoption of green practices Project Goals Increase effectiveness of existing environmental groups and orgs. Motivate individuals to adopt environmentally beneficial behaviors Manage stormwater runoff through the adoption of green practices Improve the health of the Great Lakes by reducing sediment and nutrients entering rivers and streams Networked Neighborhoods for Eco-Conservation Online
