Auger Project Management Office • Management Roles: • Supervises the operation of the observatory • Organizes technical reviews • Chair Technical Board • Serve as US country representative • Negotiated Memoranda of Understanding for operations with 93 Auger institutions • Financial Roles: • Prepares and tracks annual operating budget • Allocates operating funds requests to Auger countries and other US Auger institutions • Maintains team account at CERN • Maintains Finance Board documentation • Prepares financial reports for the Auger Finance Board
Auger Project Management Office • Organizational Roles: • Maintains country, institution, collaborator and author databases. • Maintains auger.org administration and public web pages. • Maintains mailing lists • Prepares bi-monthly status reports for the collaboration and Finance Board • Maintains internal technical documents (GAP notes) • Presents management status reports at Collaboration Meetings • Compiles annual Operations Cost List for allocating operational cost responsibility among member countries
