  2. Asphalt - Crude oil is used in the making of asphalt, along with different types of aggregates and polymers - Different areas of the USA have different types of asphalt - For each climate there is an asphalt that will perform better than the others.

  3. Making BR² • BR² is swine waste that is ran through a thermal reactor. • The thermal reactor puts the swine waste under pressure and heat to produce the BR². • When it comes out of the reactor it is a black oil like substance.

  4. Making BR² • The bio oil is pumped into a tanker and taken to the asphalt plant to be mixed in with asphalt at about 10% - 15%. • The BR² is also being used in fertilizer coatings and roofing asphalt. http://www.nuventionsolutions.com/Home.html
