  10. There is one mother who, especially during the past 150 years, has received high praise and honor, even to the point of worship and divine stature - Mary the mother of Jesus.

  17. Mary, the mother of Jesus - • open to hear from and be used by God • faithful wife, willing to submit to her husband • gave good advice: "Obey Jesus"

  18. Mary, the mother of Jesus - • demonstrated ongoing concern for her son • witness of the death and resurrection of Jesus • a praying disciple
