NEIS – National Electronic Information Service • Web-enabled interface that provides a fast, efficient and cost saving solution for end-users to access national and local listings. • Customizable search options allow your customer to search by name, address and telephone number. • NEIS data is updated daily and has an industry leading accuracy rate. • Setup is easy for the customer and the serviceis low maintenance. NLMS – National Listing Match Service • NLMS is an electronic, bulk, one-for-one list matching service. • The service enables the Carrier/CLEC customer to match large lists against national and local listings. • Access is granted through a secure website or XML interface. • NLMS is mainly used by businesses who need to update large customer lists (Ex: Scheduling service calls; national polls; or large mailings to prospects). DADS – Directory Assistance Database Service • DADS is a base file extract of all eligible listed, non-listed and non-published* listings. • The listing data includes the names, addresses and telephone numbers contained in the BellSouth Regional Database. • The data can be updated on a daily or weekly basis. • Secure mailbox or Connect Direct delivery is available. • Enables the CLEC/Carrier to provide accurate data for their Directory Assistance applications. * Non-published telephone data only includes the NPA/NXX. LIDB – Line Information Data Base • LIDB Access Service provides a customer the ability to query and receive subscriber line data stored in BellSouth’s LIDB. • This service accommodates the proper billing of calls completed for a line subscriber and/or billing calls to a subscriber’s line or calling card. • 3 Types of queries • 1) Validation Service Query • 2) Originating Line Number Screening (OLNS) Service Query • 3) GetData Service Query Private/Proprietary: Not for Use or Disclosure Outside BellSouth Except Under Written Agreement
