  2. On your RPImportant – this is a silent activity. Ready? On the next RP slot, list as many observations as you can about this classroom. I am not giving any examples - - do not call out. Write what you think is correct and keep writing. You have 2 minutes to write. If you need more space go to the next RP space.

  3. The ink moved up 2.6 cm from the pencil line. Ink must be made of different color pigments. 2 mins 25 seconds / 2.6 cm / I hear bubbling There are 16 girls in this classroom.

  4. Vocab to know Observation – a skill that involves the use of one or more of the senses to gather information and collect data. ex. Our fish is blue and green. Quantitative Observation – an observation that involves numbers. ex. There are 2 windows. Data – the facts figures and other evidence gathered through observation. ex. 2.35 cm Inference – an interpretation of an observation that is based on evidence or prior knowledge. Ex. Science is a fun class!
