  2. Baptist Beliefs • . The Baptist tradition is one of the largest of the Protestant Christian denominations. Most Baptists trace their heritage to early 17thcentury. All Baptists believe in God and Jesus.

  3. Catholic Beliefs • Roman Catholicism is a worldwide religious tradition of some 1.1 billion members. Its members congregate in a communion of churches headed by bishops, whose role originated with the disciples of Jesus.

  4. Muslim Beliefs The religion and philosophy of Islam, is based upon the belief that God (Allah) transmitted knowledge to Muhammad and other prophets also known as (Adam, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus). They believe in the same God, just different beliefs in the afterlife. P.S OBAMA IS NOT A MUSLIM!!!

  5. Jewish Beliefs Jewish Beliefs also known as Judaism, has a variety of different beliefs and celebrations. The most common is Chanukah, is their Christmas celebration. This is were you light different candles on Menorah. They also believe in God, they just don’t believe that Jesus is God’s son.

  20. Amish Religion • The Amish movement was founded in Europe by Jacob Amman (~1644 to ~1720 CE), from whom their name is derived. In many ways, it started as a reform group within the Mennonite movement -- an attempt to restore some of the early practices of the Mennonites. • The beliefs and practices of the Amish were based on the writings of the founder of the Mennonite faith, Menno Simons (1496-1561), and on the 1632 Mennonite Dordrecht Confession of Faith. The Amish who split from Mennonites generally lived in Switzerland and in the southern Rhine river region. During the late 17th century, they separated because of what they perceived as a lack of discipline among the Mennonites.
