Hydrous partial melting of the upper mantle as judged from mineral/melt partition coefficients

This study investigates the hydrous partial melting of the upper mantle through experimental measurements and tests a simple model in the system Olivine-H2O at 1 GPa. The effect of H2O on the liquidus of natural basalts is also examined.
