Paired Discussion Questions • Does your issue have any impact on you personally in your day to day life? • If so, how? • If not, do you know anyone that might be impacted personally by this issue? • Why might this issue be of concern to people throughout the world? • If this problem continues, how might the world be affected in the future?
Group Activity • Directions: • Gather with partners and create a circle • Hold up your global issue cards • When you receive the ball of yarn do three things: • Give one example of something you learned about your issue • Explain how your issue might be connected to the issue of the pair that threw you the ball • Hold on to the yarn and throw the ball of yarn to a new set of partners
