6. Pittsburgh, IEEE Switchgear November 1999 - 6 Description : Local displays
LCD (3 1/2 digits): Displays the temperature compensated pressure at 20°C: i.e. a density.
LEDs display alarms and warnings:
- P1 threshold = refilling pressure & alarm,
- P2 threshold = lock-out pressure & alarm,
- T1 advance warning (low leakage rate),
- T2 advance warning (high leakage rate),
- Low temperature (liquefaction),
- Self-diagnostic OK.

8. Pittsburgh, IEEE Switchgear November 1999 - 8 Example: Circuit-breaker installed in the New Mexico desert:
Effect of wide temperature variation (30°C) between day and night
9. Pittsburgh, IEEE Switchgear November 1999 - 9 Example: Breaker at James Bay (Northern Quebec)
When, exceptionally, temperature falls below the liquefaction point:
A conventional densimeter will activate the P2 threshold (refilling required),
CBWatch1 will send the message: Temperature too low. Do not refill.
