The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is sometimes called "The Land of the Two Holy Mosques" in reference to Mecca and Medina, the two holiest places in Islam. The two mosques are Masjid al-Haram and Masjid Al-Nabawi. The current Kingdom was founded by Abdul-Aziz bin Saud, whose efforts began in 1902 when he captured the Al-Saud’s ancestral home of Riyadh, and culminated in 1932 with the proclamation and recognition of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, though its national origins go back as far as 1744 with the establishment of the First Saudi State.

If a guest is invited to a meal then the guest should leave behind some food on his plate to show that his appetite has been satisfied. Inmates of the family may request the guest for a subsequent meal and in that case the guest should oblige and give the family some token gift in return as a gesture of honor

If we man goes along with a lady, she must be either his mother or wife or sister. Women are prohibited to work except in certain categories like Nurse, Doctor, and Teacher. And woman cannot drive either!!!In Saudi Alcohol is strictly banned and smuggling/carrying Drugs carries capital punishment. • Entertainment is strictly restricted to in-house with DVD, VCD as there are no theatres; apart from this shopping is one major time pass for people living in Saudi. • Now comes to point, then why people go and live in Saudi, the one main and simple reason is MONEY, this is the place where one can save maximum amount, as there are no entertainment in the kingdom, the maximum you spend is on Rental & Monthly provision, Expenses towards Fuel & Electricity is practical joke in the region as it comes very cheap.
