  5. Enterprise IT • Fairly homogeneous network • Easier to manage and update • Control the end user environment • Silently maintain the end user environment • System Management Services (SMS) • Lots of scripting • Batch, VBS, PowerShell

  6. My experience • Worked for Brian Lester in the IT department • Data Center and Distributed Software Support • Received tasks from many different employees.

  7. Things I did • Imaged new machines • Harddisk encryptions • Inventory Audit • Scripting for updates • Manual installs and uninstalls • Conversion Program

  8. Conversion Program -- sql2rdl • Convert *.sql and *.mof into *.rdl • SQL • MOF • Managed Object Format • RDL • Report Definition Language • Purpose • Transition between SMS systems
