Preparing – General Guidelines • Gather Well-Maintained Work – Portfolio and Placement! • Gather Specific College Requirements – Make a List & Keep Track! • Number of Pieces, • Labeling requirements, • File Formats Accepted • Upload Options to School or Generic Site, CD/DVD, PowerPoint or other Presentation Format • DUE DATES • Meet with a Teacher to Review Portfolio Choices – Ask Early! • Finish, Fix or Neaten Work • Photograph Work – In School or at Home – Natural Light/Little Distortion! • Store Work on Computer & Back Up – At Home! • Edit to “Reality” – Unless 2-D Submission where Alteration is the Goal! • Label According to College Requirements – Size and Medium, etc!
