Did you prepare everything before having picnic last week ? Are you new student in this level ? Has your friend, Fariz met that girl before ? WHQuestions • The Answer MUST BE in DETAILS • Started by The WH Questions / Question Words then followed by ~ To Do ( Do/Does/Did) ~ To Be (Am/Is/Are/Was/Were) ~ To Have (Have/Has/Had) • EXAMPLES : What do you buy today at Grocery Store ? Where did your picnic take place ? Where was Afika in the previous meeting ? What has Lisdiah got in Jakarta? I buy ... / Nothing Oh, It took place in ... She was hospitalized because ... She has got many photos of her idols, Super Junior

QUESTIONTAG • The function is to stress / emphasize the questions • If the Statement is (+), the tag is (-) • If the Statement is (-), the tag is (+) • The Tags can be To be, To do, To have (depends on the predicates in STATEMENT ) & The tag must be in SHORT FORM • EXAMPLES : ELC is in Samarinda only, Isn’t it ?
