COMKFOR’s Mission • KFOR, in accordance with UNSCR 1244, is to: • Establish & maintain a secure environment, including Public Safety & Order. • Monitor, verify & when necessary enforce compliance with the conditions of the Military Technical Agreement (MTA) & the UCK Undertaking. • Provide assistance to the United Nation Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) including core civil functions until transferred. • In Order to Facilitate Peace & Stability in Kosovo.
